30 Exciting Video Games Coming Out in 2015

After more than a full year of access to the next-gen systems, developers have now had more than enough time to get a better understanding of the full power of these systems. Because of this, 2015 looks like it’s going to be a great year for video games. Recently, Yahoo! published a post about some of the awesome games coming out in 2015, and, after reading it, I decided I wanted to share those games here with all of you!

Before I get to the full list, though, there are a few games on there that I’m particularly excited for, and I want to talk about them first.

Games I’m Excited For

Currently, I do all of my gaming on an Xbox One, and (though rarely) on an Xbox 360, so most of the games that I’m excited about are either available on both XB1 and PS4 or they’re XB1 exclusives. That said, I am excited about some of the PS4 exclusives, but I’m not going to highlight them only because I won’t be able to play them.

Batman Arkham KnightThe first game that I’m looking forward to playing is Batman: Arkham Knight. I’ve always been a fan of Batman and have been playing Batman games since the Sega Genesis, so becoming “The Dark Knight” has been a source of joy for me for a long time. Rocksteady has already done a really good job with this series; Arkham Asylum was a lot of fun, and Arkham City was obviously great, so I’m excited to see what they do with the third (and I believe final) chapter.

Battlefield Hardline is another game that I can’t wait to play. The only time I’ve really ever played a “Battlefield” game was when they released the multiplayer beta for Battlefield 4. Though I enjoyed the game, Call of Duty was more my cup of tea. This year, though, it seems as though battlefield is taking a completely different approach to the game, and it looks like it’s going to be tons of fun. If you haven’t seen it yet, I suggest you go to YouTube and check out the trailer.

If you haven’t played Crackdown, you’re missing out. This was a game that I consistently enjoyed playing, and still enjoy whenever I go back and decide to play for a little bit. Slowly but surely becoming a more and more “super” soldier is incredibly fun and rewarding, and almost nothing beats being able to roundhouse kick a car 20 feet. I am convinced that Crackdown was the inspiration behind a lot of the gameplay in Saints Row IV. This year, They’re bringing Crackdown to the Xbox One and that makes me a very happy man.

To be honest, I’m pretty excited about most of the games on this list, but the ones listed above are the ones that really blow my skirt up. Below is the full list from Yahoo! categorized by the systems they’ll be available on.

*As a side note, some of the games that are listed for Xbox One/PS4 are also available on PC and/or Mac, but I decided to only list exclusives under the PC/Mac heading.
